NEWS AND VIEWS THAT IMPACT LIMITED CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT

power to endanger the public liberty." - - - - John Adams

Romney - 'Is the USA Doomed?'

Is the USA Doomed?

"The famously heartless (Paul) Ryan plan that supposedly slashes the budget doesn't reach a projected balance until the year 2040 and increases spending over the next decade.

It is a sign of how lost we are as a country when this counts as draconian budget-cutting."

American Socialism  -  The Romney tape hit the nail on the head
  • Leftist Democrats fall all over each other to write into law the Marxist re-distribution of the wealth to buy votes.
  • "Conservative" Republicans have joined in to spread the wealth around to pro-Republican groups in the endless quest to buy votes.
  • While the bi-partisan spending goes on and on the nation marches to bankruptcy and Banana Republic poverty.

By Gary;

Mitt Romney is right.  Romney is effectively asking if the US is doomed.  This election is different from past American elections.  For the first time the moochers and looters perhaps outnumber those who pay the taxes.

Almost every group from illegals to teachers to farmers to business are sucking furiously on the teat of the US Treasury.  Pulling them off the teat will be a bitch.

Mitt Romney described almost half of Americans as “people who pay no income tax” and are “dependent upon government.” Those voters, he said, would probably support  Comrade Obama because they believe they are “victims” who are “entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it.”

Mitt Romney on Obama Voters

Romney describes how his campaign would not try to appeal to “47 percent of the people” who will vote for Obama “no matter what.” They are, he says, “dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them.”

Everyone is sucking on
the public teat.

He says those people “pay no income tax,” and “so our message of low taxes doesn’t connect.”  Romney adds: “My job is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

Romney often accuses Comrade Obama and his Fellow Travelers of wanting to bring a European-style socialism to the United States. In the video clips, Romney says his campaign is concentrating on the “5 to 10 percent in the center” whom he described as “thoughtful” voters.

Romney said his comments addressed “a question about direction for the country: Do you believe in a government-centered society that provides more and more benefits? Or do you believe instead in a free-enterprise society where people are able to pursue their dreams?”

Free Pizza for All  -  More businesses accepting food stamps
More and more businesses are latching on to the public teat.  Businesses become dependent on the re-distribution of wealth to make their bottom line profit.

Bi-Partisan Big Brother Government.
No matter which party has a majority in Congress or controls the White House the insane spending of taxpayer's money and the growth of an un-Constitutional centralized state goes on and on.
.
We all know Democrats are raving Marxists.  But what people do not understand is how far Left the so-called "Conservative" Republican Party has drifted.  Based on the standard big government spending programs GOP Congressmen and Senators routinely vote for, the modern Republican Party would be considered wild-eyed Leftist New Dealers back in 1933.
.
The "Conservatives" of today are only Conservative when viewed side by side with Marxist Democrats.  When modern Conservatives are viewed side by side with a Republican from 1870 or 1920 then they are Big Government Socialists.

My dad and I both vehemently thought that with Obama's atrocious presidential record of the last four years, people would have the initiative to get rid of him. I can never relay just how... crestfallen, we were, when he got his second term. I hope this sense of foreboding is completely off... that's all I can say.

I feel we are over the edge, but there is always hope.
